Revel Digital supports hardware based devices and QR code based 'virtual' devices. The remainder of this article details hardware devices. If you are interested in QR code devices, please see this article instead.
In most cases a device in your Revel Digital account represents the physical hardware, or player, responsible for displaying your digital signage content. A device could be a PC, Android tablet, Smart TV, or even a Bluetooth beacon.
Devices are registered to your account with a registration code presented by the player app when run for the first time.
If the player hardware you are using did not come pre-installed with the Revel Player app you will need to install this first.
