Updating the Digital Sign

Sometimes when I try to update our digital sign in the lobby of our hotel, the pp doesn't appear as it should. The pp content is removed leaving only the template--date at the top and picture along the left side of the screen. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

    First

    Do not remove the playlist that is in the template

    Second
    To update that playlist u add your uploaded media (ppt)
    Then delete the old ppt that is in the playlst

    DONOT remove the playlist

    If you do remove it and then create another one with the same name - u still must go into the template and add that playlist

    It's till not showing the pp--jus the blank screen like before.

    Hi Ted,
    Did you do anything to it or did it just straighten up after repeated
    attempts to make it look the way it should? lol

    I see the preview now looks as it should so I guess the problem corrected
    itself unless you did something on your end.

    The system works fine

    When u update the image and don't tell the mache to update itself it might take up to 2hours before it updates

    If you tell it to update it starts withib10 min and then depending on the download speed it might start play in from 15 minutes or more.

    Every time u click the update button it starts over delaying everything

    As to a blank screen - if you're not actually in front of the screen the blank could have been a screen shot during the transition between iamges

    So - all u had to do is wait

    Go you where you see your device listed, click the 'more..' link, then click 'Update Content'. It may take a few minutes for the player to respond to the update command.

    Hi guys,
    I'm experiencing issues with the sign not updating or rebooting on the web site again tonight. I tried to upate the sign about an hour ago and then tried to reboot it with no success. I waited an hour and tried again but it's still not accepting the update or the reboot.
    Can either of you get the thing back online please?
    I've attached the day's sign in case you need it.
    Please get this working again asap.

    Looks like the new power point was updated successfully last night.
    Everything is saying the sign is working fine.
    Let me know if this is not the case.

    I'm trying to update the sign for tomorrow and the web page won't allow me to delete the old file, can't complete the update because it just shows the old file on the playlist.
    Please help!

    I was able to delete the old presentation and update with the new one.
    Next time you delete try to not hit the back button. Just continue on with
    your updating process. Sometimes going back after a delete will not work.
    Give that a shot next time.

    Good morning Ted,
    I'm trying to update the digital sign for Holiday Inn but the website doesn't seem to want to update or reboot this morning.
    Would you please take a look and see if there's a problem?
    I'll most likely try again in an hour or so, but the sign has been offline since 5am and we have a group due in at 7:30am so I'd like to be able to have the sign up by then if possible.

    I'm trying to upload our events sign for today and attached is a picture of what I keep seeing; it will not allow the upload at all.
    Please take a look and see what's up. I've also attached the pp for today's events so you'll have the correct file for uploading.
